JPJMNHS | World Teachers Day 2012

World Teachers Day has been celebrated around the world to honor and praise the heroism of the people that hold the said to be the noblest profession - TEACHING. What I am talking about are our teachers - the molders of the young minds, the people who shape not only the mental being of humanity but its future...
They are those who untiringly sought for the better future of their learners - their second children whom consider them as their second parents. To feel the spirit of this celebration, Juan P. Jalipa Memorial National High School's Supreme Student Government (SSG) hosted and sponsored the recently conducted World Teachers Day celebration at JPJMNHS.

Various activties highlighted the events which included the following: Students Teaching Day Tribute Program Parlor Games for Teachers Teachers Excursion Students eagerness to experience teaching and the sacrifices behind teaching urged qualified students to take the stand and the role of their subject teachers. The teachers selected students to act in their behalf and tackle topics to their classmates. Student-teachers were given the opportunity to handle the classes alone with their supervision of their subject teachers.

A tribute program was also held to give all the students the opportunity to convey messages as a sign of their appreciation to their teachers. Clubs officers and members heartily given their love gifts to their teachers and give thanks to all their effort for shaping their future.

Prior to the tribute program, students posted greetings and messages on the school's bulletin board. Teachers were energized and enjoyed the prepared parlor games by the SSG. Smiles were evident in the faces of teachers as they play as team in the Sack Race, Gringo went to War, Catching the Egg and Breaking the Ice. They also enjoyed the "Tanging Hinga Mo" game. Prizes and awards for the parlor games were also given to the teachers.

Unwinding experience with nature was also part of the plan for the celebration. JPJMNHS Teaching Force had their trip to Lake Agco, Kidapawan City to enjoy swimming, food trips and picture taking. This event marks another mi

  3. Celebrating this kind of event reminds us how the teachers are exerting their courage just to deliver a good form o teaching to their students. Glad to know that they were being given a tribute event because they are a real hero. My mother is a teacher and it really means a lot for me, knowing that she spend most of her time in teaching just to educate her students well.
